  • Internet Fiesta 2001!

Internet Society - Bulgaria® is a non-governmental organization (NGO), founded on Dec. 4, 1995 in Sofia by a group of enthusiastic young internauts. Among the friends of ISOC-Bulgaria are Vinton Cerf (the "Father of the Internet"), members of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, and hundreds of Internauts in Bulgaria and all over the world. You can take a look also at the Internet Society HQ in the US. Or at the first European ISOC meeting - a picture and a link to the web site. Bulgarians, who are members of ISOC or other ISOC chapters are honorable members of the Internet Society - Bulgaria by default. So, if you are one of them, visit our members list, and if you are not there, send us an e-mail.

The Internet Society is taking active part in promoting the Internet in the mass media. Our members have been lecturers at various events all over the country. For a detailed list of activities performed by ISOC, see the appropriate web pages. Chairman of the ISOC-Bulgaria is Veni Markovski

The Internet Society - Bulgaria is looking for support! Send us an e-mail, or call phone (02) 9809666, phone/fax (02) 9806431.
